Ok so i'm trying to find the thread size of a nc24 spark plug.
Or, alternatively how to remove the inside of the plug whilst keeping the white bit on the top end.
What I'm trying to achieve is a connection for the end of my compression tester. Would be best to keep the top end on it because this will fit straight on to the flexible hose that came with the tester.
I've tried drilling through but it's porcelain (i think? it's black anyway.) So do I need diamond tip? or alternatively could i bash it out?
Tried the hose fitting shop but they basically said they have nothing, cut it off & weld something to it. sweet, but i don't have a welder.

There a standard 10mm spark plug, the pitch is 1.0mm (fine). However, you can buy the compression tester adapters off ebay for a couple of quid

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Draper-10mm-1 ... 1e76c4fd36

like this one for 4 quid

or this compression tester with all 3 adapters and an extra long extension for 25 quid

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Draper-Compre ... 20cebf2758

probably easier than faffing about trying to get a seal.
