Engine paint
Does anyone know where I can get some heat resistant paint to spray my engine cases in the same or similar grey? I know pj1 did some a long time ago but I don't think you can get that anymore . Could I get them powder coated ?

Re: Engine paint
Tried Halfrauds? Or any decent motor factor will stock high temperature engine/exhaust paint.

Re: Engine paint
Do you not have a paint shop local that do the spray cans?
You can get custom matching and its good for 400deg.

As VVS said, Have a look around for paint shops rather then Halfrauds. I went today to get some paint for me ZZR6, I got proper paint for my spray gun and i found it alot cheaper then (in bulk) then spray cans.Variablevalves suck wrote:Do you not have a paint shop local that do the spray cans?

They also gave me great advice, I took my sample in, and mixed it in 2 mins. Says its good for 500oC.
It is more expensive to get all the stuff at start though, but i've got few bikes to spray so pays for itself.

You'll struggle to get US Customs to accept aerosols unless you're a major company. Even UK companies with direct clearance can't send aerosols to and from USA.
