VFR NC30 L Model Owners Manual Please

Hi,

I recently bought myself a VFR400 NC30, engine and vin numbers are L series, colour code is K, but I think the tailpiece was not from the standard bike (the colour scheme is black and yellow which doesnt appear to be standard either) - I have found a parts manual / service manual and seen people suggest the Haynes manual but could someone please scan their owners manual and load it up onto the documents page. I would love to have a copy of the original book and see what they said back then :)

Thanks for the help

Document section before you go into the forum is where you'll find an owners manual in PDF :peace:

Oh and welcome :rocks:

Thanks for the headsup and the welcome, I hope I'm not being stupid and not seeing whats right in front of me but I did look in the documents section before and I didnt see an owners manual, I see there is one for an NC29 and there is a spares manual for an NC30 but I didnt see an NC30 owners manual... if it is somewhere there can I be a bit cheeky and ask for the link

No your right, I guess I always thought of the service manual as pretty much an owners manual.

are you talking about the manual that came with UK spec bikes and is about the rarest thing around for the NC30?
Scanning that really isnt an option due to its size and how thin the paper is
Unless you mean the haynes manual

Actually, that's the second rarest - this is the rarest (the names have been changed to protect the innocent) ;-)

Jeesh, it looks pocket size, but yes thats it... the small blue one with the helmet on it - if you scan it on a photostat machine (not sure if thats a south african name for a xerox?) the pages etc dont move so they shouldnt get hurt (may have to put an A4 page behind the book so that the photostat machine doesnt get confused by how small the pages are)

I know how to scan it, but without meaning to sound rude - i really don't have the time to faf about and scan a couple of hundred pages and compile a PDF. The pages are quite tight and would split easily if folded flat - its the same on the RC30 manual too.
There is little else thats not in the haynes manual
But if there is anything you want to know i will dig the info out you require

Just cut all the pages out and stick them through the sheet feeder.....
