Hi all,

Just putting new chain & sprockets on and I go to torque up the rear sprocket nuts.
I like to torque them up to a little under the haynes value first, then all the way (haynes = 35nm), so i'm torquing them to about 28nm and two of them just keep going... and going... and going... yeah they're stripped.
I should have probably checked if any were stripped and needed replacing before I started to put them back on, because now I can't actually remove them, just keep on spinning (yes, the flat bit on bolt head is locked in place so the bolt its's self isn't spinning, just the nut.

So, how do I get these 2 nuts off without damaging my new rear sprocket? Will be ordering 2 new ones (or is it best to replace them all?) so should I just cut them with dremel? How is best to go about this without risking damaging sprocket?

Also where is best to order these nuts/bolts from? I priced up a full set from David Silver/Lings and they get pretty expensive!
Using these part codes: Sprocket Bolt 90120MR8000, Flange Nut 90309KF0003 Washer 90465MC4000.

As for whether or not you get just 2 or a set is dependant upon looks....if your not fussy having 2 new bolts and 4 old then that wont be a problem.

Mr angry grinder it is. I do care about looks if im honest but not being made of money I cannot justify spending something around £50 from ds/lings to replace perfectly good but dirty bolts/nuts/washers unless absolutely necessary.
