Morning boys ;)

Sure its been done to death but can any tell me what size socket for the top yoke nut
and under that, the locking nut etc for the head bearings ??? . Think the nut on top
of the yoke is 41mm ?? is that right ??. Looked on ebay and theirs a guy selling the socket
for the locking nut underneath ?? :? Anyone tried one of these or is their a simple way ?
Does Rick O sells these sockets ?

Cheers :peace:

A small C spanner can be used on the adjuster nut, but then the correct torque can't be set that way.
A 44mm [internal diameter] peg socket spanner is required to set the adjuster nut to 36ft/lbs, then the lock nut can be set finger tight with a new lock tab fitted.
Fit top yoke and torque top nut to 101ft/lbs with a 41mm socket.

With forks and wheel fitted, check correct preload by fitting a spring gauge to each fork leg top nut in turn to verify lock to lock pull is within 2.2 to 3.3lbs.
