Did this problem only occur when you put on the new batt and reg/rec????????

Because if it did you have done something wrong when installing.

I would try the starter relay 1st, bypass it and see if it goes. Mainly because its easy to get to. Check all the cables are secure.

Then check the bushes on on the starter motor! It may go wrong when it gets hot from the engine running!

It could also be the starter button, or the kill switch this happened on mine. Press the button and nothing happens, cos it aint working. You can bypass both from the connector block

If you can push start it down the road when its warm its more than likely to be the relay and/or starter.

I had the same problem with mine, new battery and reg/rec fitted but wouldn't start when it was warm.
I needed a new starter solenoid anyway so got one and its not done it since.

Also over charging of the battery for long periods of time can fry the cdi

If your battery was boiled by the reg?rec then you will need to replace it. It would have been severely damaged.
