I'm refreshing the bqack end of the bike, so i've stripped the shock off and am in the process of removing the swingarm but have come unstuck at the last hurdle as i dont have a allen key big enough to undo the swingarm pivot bolt.
anyone know what size i need? looks pretty big!

A14 (14mm) you can use a jap M8 bolt head (14mm) and use 2 nuts (uk=13mm) on the thread to undo

Good plan! Will give that a go as its torqued to only around 15nm by all accounts. Should pop out easy! (famous last words!)

I ended up using an old spark plug spanner on mine with a screwdriver through the holes, it's not too tight so shouldn't be a problem

I used one of the shock/dogbone bolts and 2 nuts to undo it in the end. East peasy.
Swing arm is now off and all cleaned up (was FILTHY!). just waiting for my beemer shock/New spring to arrive now then i can get it all back together again
Anyone got a shock spring compressor i can borrow for a weekened?
