Can anyone confirm the material used in the OEM NC30 rear sprocket. The RC30 shares the same P/N and I would have thought the RC30 would have used aluminium.

If they are the black sprocket with a random foam cushion strip..then that was a heavy old beast and I would say it was steel.

Original Japanese spec bikes came with steel black sprocket with a tin safety guard rivetted on.

Replacement silver sprocket [for UK spec at least] is RC30 type, but still steel.

Thanks arsey30, USA P/N for RC30 sprocket is the same as my listing for OEM NC30. Trying to work if I order RC30 sprocket from USA whether I will get steel or aluminium.

All markets original [40t] RC30 sprockets are steel.
