rear sprocket and chain guide?

hello everyone. new to the site and looking for some help.
has anyone noticed that the rear sprocket and chain guide are slightly out of line? i noticed it as im stripping it down to clean it i thought maybe something was wrong so i picked up another complete swingarm from ebay and its exactly the same. ive not ridden the bike yet as its an ongoing project. if anyone could shed some light for me it would be very much appreciated thanks. its an nc30 btw

Can you take a photo of sprocket and chain line route and post up here for me to look at please.

Can you take a shot of the sprocket face, locking straight at it as if you would if taking a picture of the bike.

Is it a really stupid question to ask if the things are even supposed to line up precisely?

The sprockets have a shoulder...a lot of people put them on in the way they think looks best. Not the way it should go on.

I have always found Honda parts to be spot on.

That is why I want a shot of the sprocket face, I thought that might be the problem
