Legend has it that would will gain three million bhp throughout the whole rev range, and a host of other stuff that will make your bike infinitely superior to one without it fitted.

In actual fact, I believe all it does is knock out the Japanese home market speed restriction, and raise the red line and rev limit by 500 or 1000rpm. Claims of slight alteration in ignition advance/retard to increase midrange power seem to be a point of contention.

Knocks off the Japanese speed limiter...not even worth the £6 postage let alone £60 asking price...

It takes the 180kph limiter off jap bikes, that's all.
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

The one i also do is type in the quick reply box, then click the post reply button realising ive just lost all of what i had just written because its gone to the proper post reply box instead. DOH.
