GK73A swingarm conversion

I am currently rebuilding my gsxr and trying to fit a vfr400 nc30 swing arm. it fits in nicely and the wheels and sprocket are inline. Before I start to modify the frame is there any advice out there on shock preference or how to complete the project. many thanks
