hi all, i recently got my bike back on the road and the more i ride it, the more i hate the standard exhaust. Yes, its all good keeping the bike standard, but i hate it! looks too big, sounds like sh*te. I dont want to cut my standard can off, so i can return it to original if i want. The issue im left with is the only system i can find is the tyga ones, at roughly 500 quid!? i had a look on ebay at getting another already cut standard system, but there all damaged/rotten/not worth the price. Someone tell me theres a cheaper/better option to this, before i cut my standard system in half!
Cheers, Fraser

If you hate the original, why would you want to go back to it? Unless you buy a new (at least to the bike, not necessarily brand new out the box) rear half or full system, you're not going to avoid cutting it. Most systems rot under the engine where the front headers join, but if you or a mate can weld, they fix very easily. I'm pretty sure an RVF collector will fit on the VFR (assuming NC30), which will have a mounting flange and allow any aftermarket can to be bolted on. If you don't want to pay £500+ for a new one, then just keep watching eBay for a secondhand one that doesn't need to much attention, or put an ad in the wanted section on the forum. Something will turn up sooner or later... :-)

Don't cut the original - nice originals are thin on the ground!
As above refurb a cut one from ebay or part ex your system with my Tyga pipes in the fs section

buy a half system, like a yamamoto etc.
plenty available.
Even a stock RVF system has a bolt on can so you can change
