nc23 starting problems
the above all started after i have tried fitting a new speedo/dash. I have brought a koso replica and fitted it yesterday and all went smoothly accept i couldnt get the tacho (rpm) guage to work.
bike was still starting and running well then it suddenly died
i have since refitted the standard clocks and i cant get the bike to fire its turning over fine but doesnt seem to have any spark. if i turn off the cut out switch and turn it back on it fires then nothing.
Any help would be grateful as need to have this resolved by tomorrow as it my mode of transport for work.
Thanks
Jon

Re: nc23 starting problems
Daft question but your fuel is switched on? That would explain it stopping after running fine....

Re: nc23 starting problems
same thing happened to me when my reg/rec went. Took the CDI apart to find a resistor had burnt out. Tried replacing it and ended up with the cdi almost setting on fire lol. (soldering is definetly not my strong point!)
But it may be worth checking your voltages are all good when the bike is charging the batt.
