Carb fuel pipe setup

Hi all,

As a part of the ongoing project with the bike I've had the carbs professionally rebuilt. I've put them back on the bike but have forgotten to take note of which pipes connect where.

There are three pipes that come off the underside of the fuel tank (1 from the centre and 2 from the tap) there are then two outlets for pipes to connect to top rail and lower rail

Would someone please advise how the correct way / order to connect them?

Thanks!

The hose from the centre of the tank is the filler cap drain. The 8mm hose from the tap will go to your top rail, the other spigot on the tap will be the vacuum seal which should be a 6mm hose that fits onto one of the cylinders. The lower spigot on the carbs could be for carb heaters.

Without knowing what model bike you have, that's my educated guess...

Why dont you download the manual from this site.

Top rail is a breather, lower rail is fuel in from the tank and small pipe is vacuum switch for tap.
If you connect the fuel to the top rail get ready for fuel all over the floor.
