Ok so it looks like i wasted money on getting the original mono shock re-conditioned (again)!

i have never really paid much attention to all the "fit a CBR6 shock" posts over the last decade... but NOW i am!
search has kicked up a post from Tanuki which has caught my eye..
"Oh and you dont need the linkage for the NC29 the CBR600 F3 shock will bolt right on in"

MAIN question i need to know is thus:
i do NOT need a higher ride height coz i am a short arse!.. will the F3 shock change the ride height?
assume one needs to file a V where the adjuster screw is too?

yes it will change the ride height however I imagine this can be combated by using a standard NC29 spring.
