Help with yoshimura rearsets

I have bought these rear sets and was wondering if there was any way to mount the what looks like the return spring and the rear brake light switch to these?

Just fit a pressure banjo switch simples.

are they chinese cheapie copies?

No there are not
And it came with a bolt that has a small hole through it and a wire attached to it is that any use?

Just spotted it in the picture above that is a pressure switch youll need to undo/remove the banjo bolt that holds the brake hose, and swap for the preasure switch, you obviously need to refill and bleed.

Nice rearsets i had looked at getting the copiea off ebay but went for the tyga as i couldnt find the correct hole size

No there are not

Err, yes they are.

Yoshimura Japan has never made rearsets that will bolt straight up to nc30/35's. You can tell the alloy is not a great quality where the main mounting bolts have torn up the material on your set. Genuine Yoshimura products have much better build quality than this set, example of a current set below. Their marketing dept also wouldn't put what year they were made on the rearsets like yours have (2010?). No problem with any of this just as long as you know what you paid for.

Back on topic though, yes you have a pressure switch you can use for the rear brake light.

Yep, Cammo is right, you have cheap made chinese knock-offs there, I hope they were not too expensive.

At least they come with a break-pressure switch which Ricky has already explained how to use, saving yourself a tenner off buying a new one.

It looks like somebody has used the wrong sized bolts to mount them too and broken some of the finish on them, which looks to be quite poor.

There are a few people who make rear-sets of the NC30 from Japan, these include BEET and Battle, there are a couple of others but I forget. However, Yoshimura don't make.

I have a set they're ok for the money but I had to buy a lh tap as the arm was too long for the gear and had to cut it down and re tap the hole. Use plenty of loctite or get some helicoils for the gearshift and rear brake parts.
