I was wonderring if anyone could help? I have decided to change the bar ends on my 94 PB1 as they are getting a bit scabby, however I cant seem to get them off. They dont appear to screw off as they look as if they are press fitted in, they appear to be the original factory fitted parts. Any suggestions??

Changed the righthand bar on my NC24 recently due to it beng banana'd by the previous owner, the end is actually part of the bar itself! Drop the grips off, sand and spray, reassemble...job done!

Hmmm.... was hoping to get them off, the old ones are pretty gubbed, it looks as if someone has tried to get them off before and are a bit chewed up by vicegrips by the look of it. Maybe worth getting new renthal bars or something like that?or could they be cut off?

Cutting them off isn't wise as it'll throw off the balance... As said above remove the bars, sand out the imperfections and then spray them and re-install them.

The later Superfours (i believe the version R) have screw on bar ends so you can either find one of them or just buy the renthals

Mine's a Version R and it has screw-on bar ends, if that helps. (You can't have my bars though as I'm using them!)
