Broken rusty exhaust

Bought a RVF exhaust system on the bay, but the fella broke the join off for one of the front cylinders.
Anyone in the South east want to weld some new sections in for me?
Or know where I can get my hands on the correct pipe?

stock 35 syetem / 30 system often rusts in that part, best to get stainless collars welded on. I take it that it was cheap?

Yeah Have seen them go there before, not just the 400's.
Price is good, the chap selling it was honest about it breaking after sale etc.
Don't suppose the collars are available somewhere? If not what's the tube size needed
Anyone recommend a good welder to go to for this issue? I'm not far from brands hatch

Got some aftermarket new gaskets and clamps ordered
Was hoping repro weldable collars are available.
Looks like I'll have to find some correct diameter stainless tube

I sent (to hull) my welded mess of a collector box to rcv4 on here, sorted it out really good for a really good price, and the collars he welded on were tight and didn't need gaskets.

RCV4 is a member on here who does some fantastic welding stuff.. I believe he is the first to make a stainless steel NC24 collector with removable headers.. long time before DSS started selling them.
I'd recommend him if he is close and available and there is no local machine shop.
And decent shop should be able to weld some tube on there.. stainless steel is good it wont rot.
Just take the rear half and a front downpipe with you so they can make something up.
The original collars are clamped and have a gasket in there, many aftermarket systems like yamamoto etc dont use a gasket or clamp.. even though they use the same front headers.. they just have a tighter fit... my system is clampless and no gaksets and doesnt blow (no slots in the rear pipe)
so just get a decent fitting collar made and ditch the clamp and gaskset. At the very worst you can put a bit of silicon around the pipes before joining togheter..
I have a couple of standard systems and a yamamoto system here if you need any measurements, the yamamoto system might be useful for the colars?

Have seen rcv4 work, awesome, have dropped him a PM.
If you could measure up your yamamoto collars that would be very useful, cheers. No idea what kind of tolerences to have
Might get some eyes welded on so it can be sprung together and not clamped.

Yamamoto doesnt even have springs.. the fronts sit in as an interference fit. Will measure it up later on as its only sitting in the living room

i just used clear silicon on the yamamota rear section and it was adequate i guess adding springs is for piece of mind and that race look but rcv collars will surfice.
