Got it all stripped down ok, am trying to undo the studs holding the sprocket holder sandwich together but to no avail!! Have soaked them both sides in WD40, am undoing them the right way(always a good start... ;) ), have used a large ring-ended spanner for extra leverage on my ball-ended 10mm allen key? None of them are showing signs of coming undone! :x

Cant give it too much more yeehaa or the allen key will break!

Would get some heat in there but there is of course the large sealed bearing in the middle which wouldnt like this...

At the mo its soaking ovenight in WD40, the threaded ends of the studs upwards....

Any ideas???

You can have my complete carrier assembley for £10 delivered if you like, no problems with it, good bearing... if all else fails. ;)

Marvellous! I take it the studs are loose?? lol

Just about to have another go, have cut down an 10mm allen key to fit in my 10mm impact socket, this will fit on my 1/2 ratchet (or my 48" breaker bar, hehe!)

Sorted! the prevoius owner had doused the studs in red loctite, they were, errrrrr, very reluctant to undo....

At least they wouldnt have fallen out... :D
