Hi,

I want to fit some r1 blue spot brake calipers to my 3tj. Anyone know where I can get some brackets made to make them fit?

My number is 07920155887 if anyone can help please?

Thanks

Lee

If you clean up the original calipers they should be good enought for the bike. Bluespots need to have the right master cylinder too.

yep the original brakes are more than enough
they just need a bit of looking after,
new seals (about £35), braided hoses (goodridge do em for about £50), new fluid
and don't forget to get the little O rings that seal between the 2 calliper half's once split, they don't come with the calliper seal kit (f*uk knows Y they should) and polish the pistons before re-fitting, if there not scored right up then they'll also clean up nice,

but having said all that if it's blue spot's you want, then give kayla a shout, she'll have/make what you need to adapt em ;)

Hi lee,
N.k.racing offered to do me a pair but i think he wanted £100!
A guy i race with did me a pair for about a third of that.
It does require the blue spots to be machined but theyr quite neat.
Would you like his details?
Marti

Good morning Kayla

Mike here. yes i am the man who enquired how to do - but you didnt have it developed yet, but had the right direction.

So, i did a search on tinternet and found a guy already selling them and got my bike fitted out

Here, i i am helping guys who are looking for the parts to get hooked up with them

The business has nothing to do with me - hope that clears things up

Have a nice day

Regards

Mike
