Post by matty_boy »

Ok I am wanting to do this to my bike and I am looking at buying the parts now.

What do I need? I know Uncle Rick does the mounting brackets. But else do I need.

Also what are the exact callipers that can fit please?

LOL.come on dude..have a search :poke:

Depoends what colour calipers you want for which to buy - mopst of these bikes are pre 2003/4 models

black - cbr600FX
silver - anniversary blade - 99 IIRC but not sure.
gold - cbr6rr and SP1/2

pretty sure the big naked CB one has them too and in gold.

get a mastecylinder too off any of the above bikes or the std one will be uber squidgy. best pads I used have been the nissin O/E pads. Armstrong are rubbish and EBC HH need too much heat in them.

Can't be 100% sure but I'm pretty sure no.

I did do a search buddy but i could not find a list of every thing i will need.

I am after a propper noddy guide.

So i like gold so i should get the cbr600rr clipers.

What about levers can i use NC30 ones with a CBR600rrrrrrrrr master cylinder?

If i use the NC levers does that meen i can use the NC braided lines or will the fittings be diffrent on the calipers?

If i get NBC discs, will all of the gear still work fine ?

Thanks for the info.

I will be back in the UK on Tuesday.
