Front Fork overhaul

Post by jrdwthomas »

Hi all,

I've recently purchased Ricks NC30 fork upgrade kit and am waiting to add that to the bike. I'm also going to change the seals etc. I just wandered if anyone had done a write up on the subject. I've got a Haynes manual at home but as always i always like to hear first hand from people that have done the job before as you can offer tips that Mr Haynes hadn't thought of!

Any advice would be welcome.

CHeers all.

Haynes is pretty good, it is what I used when I did the job.

I wrote some stuff here http://www.chrisgoddard.net/projectNC30page6#forks with lots of pictures, might be worth a look. If you get stuck drop me a message and maybe I can help out.
