Sensible Chinese Rad Question

I know there has been a lot of threads about chinese rads, and most people are saying there cheap and cheerful.

Has anyone bought them recently? I'm looking a reliable seller to get mine from Ebay.

I see some at at £125 from Radiatorwarrenty, another set at £99 asi_performance and a third set from am-automotive.

The set from am-automotive is £139 plus 8 P&P from Essex. I suspect there just chinese rads bought in bulk, and then shipped out from there.

Has anyone had experience with these sellers?

Time isn't really an issue, but don't want to be waiting months for them.

I bought a rad for a nc23 - the seller was asi performance. it was £60 posted, fits no hassle and seems good quality - it even holds water. It came in a week and was sent via DHL if I recall right, whatever, it was tracked so i knew exactly where it was all the way from china! Thats my experience anyway - I just took the gamble and was pleasantly suprised to be honest.

yes - with you on that one. You want gold really though, that doesnt turn green.

There is a thread on here somewhere where Geoff is ordering a new batch of rads for NC30's - about £165 for the two, maybe check that out too. The link is in the other thread you are refering to!

Where Geoff's rads are concerned they are a very very good buy.

I have a set and cannot fault them. For £165 they look good, work perfectly and all the mounts are perfect. Can't ask for more, fire him a PM and see if he has any more coming

Good stuff. May have a nosey. I'm pretty busy, so i'll get in touch to find a time that suits. Have to get that fan out and down to you. Need to source a replacement, moved to Lisburn, and travelling into Belfast during rush hour traffic, with radiators that are full of crud is already putting my temp needle too far up the scale!

Ordered a set on Friday from ASI-Performance, arrived here on Tuesday morning. Great delivery time from China. They looks dead on, and were very well wrapped. I'll try and get them fitted some evening this week, and keep you posted on them.
