Nc29, just had it serviced and we think the coil pack and leads are bummed and the ICU might not be in the best shape! Can anyone help!? Could do with batman or something! In a proper foul mood :@

You might want to start with what it is or isnt doing.
I'm assuming you don't have a spark?

so you need coil packs, leads and an ECU, its not the end of the world! put a wanted ad up - it will be sorted in a week or two!

There is a spark but it's absolutely piss poor

reassembled all the bike and there's no power at all, fuels good, breaths alright, new oil and filter new plugs all wires tested and seem to be ok, we've narrowed it down to 3 things, coils, Cdi, or pulse gen :/
Pride and joys off the road, sorry for lack of information it's like it's the end of the world! You must know the feeling? :'(

Things to try that are cheap...
is your battery at a good 12.8v+ ?
is your main earth on the engine clean and good ?
take the plug caps off the end of the HT leads. Shine a light in so you can see the screw head in there. There's a resistor in there that gets dirty and restricts the spark.
cut the last 1cm or so off each plug lead, at each end, and make a new connection. You'd almost just as well buy new lead though, 1m will be loads for this bike.

My battery is pretty Poor if I'm honest but iv ordered new coilpack and leads from Graeme France and a new ecu/cdi/icu whichever you want to call it and they should be here in a couple of days!
Just feel so lonely without my pride and joy especially on a day like today

You definately need a tip top battery on the nc29, if its not charging properly check the reg/rec mine was a cause of loads of problems. And check the out put on the alternator.
Hope this helps
