Hi i have came across an nc29 shock. Was wondering if anyone has used the small nylon nipple in the bottom of the shock? Im guessing oil goes in there. Whats the procedure for re oiling it? My original shock does not have this nipple with it being a later R model i think. Would it help the damping to redo this?

Mine had a black pipe on it, pressumed it was a drain if water got behind the shroud on the shock body??

Ohh.. Er.. Quite possibly its that then. Dunno really, i just know my original shock doesnt appear to have this nylon nipple. Wil have to take a better look. Thanks for the reply.

yes the nipple is for connecting a drain pipe
