NC30 idle niggle/problem

Well it's just being strange, it won't idle below 1500rpm and is really slow to return to idle after a little rev (little being to about 4k).

This started earlier as when I pulled up outside my house and pulled my clutch and came to a stop the bike died.

It then started on the button but died seconds later. So I had a fiddle with the idle adjuster thinking it had moved somehow and got it to idle at 1600rpm, but it won't idle at any less and as I said slow to return to idle.

Any ideas?

Too rich / too lean?

Start with the basics, the choke isnt stuck on some is it? The airfilter is clean?

The bike is fitted with 33bhp washers and I haven't re-jetted (lazy I know), so that could well be helping it.

Plus my choke arm has a spring zip tied on to it and the throttle cable mounting to help close it as it's really stiff, so that could also do it.

But my filter looks brand new.
