Hey folks,
Finally on the finishing stretch with the track bike (NC24) and took the carbs off to have them cleaned.
Then, because I'm a clumsy sod, I knocked them off the bench & snapped the throttle cam (the little circle that the throttle cables hook into, controls the butterflies)
Been looking at replacing the carbs or just that individual part and was wondering if the NC21 or NC30 variants are any different (as honda dont appear to sell just that part seperately).
Figured here would be the best place to ask :)
Cheers,
Steve

The throttle cam isn't a replaceable part, it's part of the whole single carb body assembly and can't be removed. It would be most economical to get hold of a used set of carbs, give them a good clean and fit them, keeping yours for spares.
All of these model carbs have their differences, best to replace with the carbs from the same model if you want less headaches.
If your carb inlet rubbers are the originals it would be best to replace them with new or it could be a nightmare refitting the carbs. NC30 inlet rubbers will work fine for the 21/24 carbs if you can't get hold of the original parts, the exterior dimensions of the carbs are the same.

The original NC24 rubbers ARE the same part number used on the NC30 (ML0)
Theyll all fit like cammo said but there all set up and work slightly differently, if you dont want hassle of tuning it up then find some 24 carbs.
