Re: 1wg will not start
Just as a little recap.
You have a spark ???
You have compression ????
You have new fuel ???
The battery is charged and you have a can of carb cleaner spray. A car battery + leads or jumper pack would be good. Take the airbox off but keep the fuel tank attached. Conect the car battery / jumper pack. lift each carb slide and spray some carb cleaner down them. Open the choke turn on the ignition and let the fuel pump cycle, then flick the kill switch off an on to check the fuel pump has finished. Hold the starter in and keep it there (no throttle). Keep the engine spinning over and spray a little carb cleaner in the open carbs, feather the choke and listen to how it affects the sound. the engine should spin over quicker and quicker keep the starter in and some spray coming try a very small throttle opening and eventually the motor will catch gently open the throttle until it's running then let go of the starter. Let the engine warm up a bit. Probably.

Re: 1wg will not start
That goes back to - do you have a spark ???
If you haven't any spark then start by making sure it's in neutral, find where the side stand cut out joins the loom and bridge it with a wire.

Re: 1wg will not start
it tried to fire the other day, backfired, nothing since that's why i thought of dirty carbs but have since checked and to be honest they were not that bad.it is so annoying because it was running fine when laid up (2yrs)
