do not keep stalking me just because you know me. anyway, we dont really know each other. this forum is for questions. please do not be a idiot down here. sorry for being straight. i dont go into SBF much because there's alot of idiots down there posting rubbish with no help @ all. you can keep what you know to yourself. please keep your useless comments away from me. this is a warning. thank you. i'm not interested in starting any argument with you. just stay away.cookiesol wrote:actually the main point here is... why do u need to 'derestrict' your gsxr?
track? touring for long distance?
for me, its both of the above. u dont want to cut short a riding trip of 2000km with a burnt cdi.
so the standard cdi acts as a backup for the trip.
judging by what u said, your rotors are in need of a replacement and u ride almost daily.
would suggest u do up your brakes before power upgrades.
so there's no derestricted cdi @ all? i understood what you said. i was thinking what a derestricted cdi can do more or different from adding a resistor. i knew about the resistor. will post some pics soon on the other thread for you to help me identify the wire. not much chance to do it recently.Variablevalves suck wrote:The standard cdi is not restricted!
Only restriction is the 180kh speed limiter that can be over come using a simple resistor.
The Mmax and posh boxes are simply housing a resistor.
If you put your bike on a dyno it will make power to about 14000 rpm and then the power will drop off a cliff, over reving (15000 rpm) will just kill the motor VERY quickly.
The bike will be slower ridden this way!
wow.. stalker? hahahahaben2306 wrote:do not keep stalking me just because you know me. anyway, we dont really know each other. this forum is for questions. please do not be a idiot down here. sorry for being straight. i dont go into SBF much because there's alot of idiots down there posting rubbish with no help @ all. you can keep what you know to yourself. please keep your useless comments away from me. this is a warning. thank you. i'm not interested in starting any argument with you. just stay away.cookiesol wrote:actually the main point here is... why do u need to 'derestrict' your gsxr?
