You want tools to clean the engine?
I beg you, please don't remove the engine. It will be 2015 before you figure out which way it goes in!

Re: a good toolset?
Please, save the money and put it towards A few hours labour with a good mechanic.
Do this before u buy any more tools or parts. They'll hopefully fix your problems and you can finally enjoy riding your bike - before your thread hits 150 pages & bike still doesn't run.

So it's still not running? How long has it been now?
My advice - Get it sent down here and I'll get the fecker running like new

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: a good toolset?
Your not going to get a decent tool kit for under £100 , you will be able to buy a few decent bits to start building one up , look for stuff like halfords professional , teng ect ect .
You'd be better finding some one who can help you and is willing to use his or her tools on your bike , see what used the most and they but those parts to start .

Agree with all the above! A few hours with someone who nows what they are doing will pay lots of dividends. And summers arrived, you need it fixed!

I don't understand what you mean? What do you think you'll achieve by cleaning the engine?
