HI not getting spark off either coil pack any ideas? tried 3he coil pack just plugged in with spark plug in touching frame, still no spark 99%done

Have you plugged in the generator ??? The pickup is under the gennycasing and it senses the flywheel, if that's not plugged in then there's no signal to the cdi.

all connectors seem to be plugged in got no loose ends, me thinks i need a friend with a volt meter

Check the pickup in the genny housing.
