nc30 air box

Post by otto »

in my spares box which came with my track bike i have a hrc type air box lid

what is the advantage of this

currently runs standard lid with big cutout in front no filter inside

when i tried the hrc type it fouled on the tank at the front looked like the front tank mount was sitting on top of
the mouth of the lid

any comments, advice welcome

It sounds like an hrc airbox lid designed for rvf's. It might foul because it was designed to fit under the rvf tank (if they're different underneath?), or maybe just because it's a poor copy.

There's probably no big advantage over your current setup, the airbox lid was designed to be used as part of the hrc kit.

How does your bike go with that airbox and no filter?
