I picked up a GK76 SP and SP2 parts manual. If anyone needs parts numbers feel free to email me. If I get ambitious I might scan some pages of it.

Looks like the manual might be hosted here.

Couple of odd things in the manual

1. It looks like C10 designates SP parts. The wiring harness in the SP manual ends in COO while the wiring harness in the standard 76 parts manual ends in C10. The drawing in the SP manual also shows the two plug standard harness.

2. The frame for the SP actually has a different part number. Probably no big deal as dealing with VJ23's I found the V model 23's had a different part number because they had a metal id tag attached to the frame.

The early SP's had a different rear subframe to accommodate the remote shock reservior.
Is it possible that the mounting for the steering damper is only on the SP too?

Don't think so as the 3 gk76's i have had have the mounting holes under the LHS of the top frame (by headstock)

My track bike came with the bracket to mount a steering damper, the other 2 did not.

Don't suppose you have a pic of the bracket do you? I'm going to fit one to my bike when I get around to it.
