guys, i'm curious in knowing the life span of a front disc. currently, i'm using "BRAKING" brake pads. after a few months, my disc start to have waves & squeaking sound when i'm about to stop. a friend told me, better braking = higher friction so faster wear & tear. TRUE?!
what brake pads are you guys using? i'm thinking of changing to other brands that still provide good braking but not wear off my disc so fast.
and what do you think when a person tells you that he changes his disc once a year? normal?

Maybe... just maybe?? u r talking bout somone who frequents track like once or twice a mth?
hmmmm maybe that track happens to be 3.86km with 12 turns in between *ponders bout the amt of braking*
hey! i know! maybe if u throw in the weekly local couple of hundreds KMs commuting to the equation...

DAMN... sounds more and more like what i was doing in the past!
