Does anyone knows the colour codes for the 3tj fzr 400 '89? I have one (black) and i want to repaint it on the oridonal yamaha white-red combination colours. I do have the full yamaha colour list though. But i don't know which white and which red. To be more specific, i'm talking about this model and the colours you can see in this site below (3TJ1 1989)

These guys can supply the paint in the correct shade but they're not cheap.

Alternatively find a paint supplier and then ask them to supply the paint for the bike.

I have a colour supplier. He can give me any colour i'll ask him. The problem is that i don't have the colour codes. He gave me a Yamaha colour catalog, but there are so many whites and reds that i can't be sure for the right one.

Can't he match the colour if you send him a panel ???
Probably one from the tail as they're smaller.

Of course he can. But i don't have any panel. My panels are black and i want to paint them on the red-white combination (original yamaha 3tj colours). And no one here has any moto with these colours. That's why i try to find the colour codes. Thanks anyway Evil

ok - personally I like the black bodywork but that's just me.

What condition is your fuel tank in ???
I've got a red white one as my black one has a dent ... so I'll swap you if you cover postage that way you'll have something to match.

We had the entire list of FZR color-codes on the dutch FZR Forums, unfortunatly they will be down untill thursday because the administrator died of an heart attack and the site is now a condolence register. But, as soon as we're back online i'll dig em up for you. A mate of mine had the paints made up from the codes for his RWB 3EN2 and they match 110%.

It's very sad to hear about the administrator's death. It's too bad. However when you can i'll be grateful to send me the colour codes. Thanks a lot man.

Mine has a big dent too!!! I'm allready about to buy a red-white, but not sure. If there's nothing to buy, i'll let you know. Thanks a lot.

I need to paint my 3tj1 fairings aswell and at a yamaha parts dealer i was told the colour codes are: Silky White (SW) - 00GE ; Apple Red (ARE) - 00H9. hope it helps.
