Assen - British Superbikes - September

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Assen - British Superbikes - September

Post by Pilky »

Me and a few mates have been Umming and Arring whether or not we are going to head over, I really like the idea.
Just wondering if anyone from here is going?? Not sure whether riding to Assen on my NC21 would be wise... Although I do like the idea haha. I might even use it as an excuse to buy a new bike

That sounds quite tempting, on a 21 would be interesting. Wonder if Paul and Tony are up for this?

Reckon it would have to be an overnighter near Assen for me if we did it.

I would love to do it! Just dont think I have the balls to do it on my bike at the mo.. you never know until you try though i suppose and my bikes never done me wrong even on long journeys...
I wonder how many people would actually be interest or if someone with a bit of organistation skills tried to sort something out... >=]

I did the MOTOGP a couple of years back, when Rossi knocked up his 100th win, it was a great weekend. Went out on the harwich ferry rtn.

Went for a 4 day'er. Dossed down in a B&B, the old lady only does B&B on the Moto GP and SBK weekends. 30 euro a night. A lot of people in Assen really embrace their motorcycling and offer B&B on event weekends. You may be able to find something on the net.

I think it took us about 3 hrs to Assen from the Hook.

I have sadly come to the conclusion my finances will not allow me to do this anymore =[ Probably wouldnt be wise to do it on my bike anyway..
Wedding + Saving money for a new bike this winter means I'm just looking forward to getting to as many meets as I can next year!
