Hi, im putting together an NC30 rear end for my RD350. Im missing a few parts so would like to as a question about part fitment.
I need a shock, ive got no clearence or top mount issues as that will be fabricated when it all goes together. What shocks will fit the NC30 arm? CBR, SP1/2, VFR other models etc?
Also need a bottom shock link with the nuckle and dog bones, what other ones will fit?
It is an RD YPVS project so wont have clearance worries and thigs can be modded.
Thanks

Most shocks will fit the nc30 arm, since they just pass through the hole in it.
Not sure about what other links will fit, but nc30 parts are easy to come by, lots of different shocks (e.g. gsx-r) will bolt up to them.
Aprilia rs250 shocks bolt up to the links, and may be useful to your project as the later model ones have adjustable ride height.
Pics when done please!

Dunno about what others will fit but I'd start with an NC35 'triangle', it's the same dimensions as the NC30 but is all needle bearings, the NC30 has a bush on the shock mount and a bit of a pita to get properly tightened in comparison.
Then most dog-bones will fit depending on on what length you want, what shock you're fitting and what rising rate you want, best to work it out first.

Cool, that gives me a wide range of shocks to bid on, should get a nice one for about £20. I will post pics when I get started but im just collecting parts at the momnet.
I have been offered a zxr400 h forks and yokes for £110 but I realy only want to spend about £80 on my USD front, I have seen a 17" VFR 750 front wheel for about £45 and may get that in a few days time. As for the rear it may go with an 18" nc30 or I may mod the hub and get a vfr750 17" wheel but will only be on a 150 section.
If anyone reading this has a nuckle & shock link feal free to pm me, there is one on ebay but he wants to much, offered £10 and he turned ot down so feal free to pm away.
Thanks

Ah, unfortunately NC35 triangles and dogbones go for a reasonable amount of money as NC30 owners want them.
NC30 ones are cheaper.
