So my shock I brought came, was fitted to an F3 spec NC30.
It has an RC30 dogbone (MR7), a custom one off metal piece too, but I thought the usual RC30 shock has a plastic nut to adjust the resevoir, not a flat headed screw.
Some pics.
Any info will be appreciated.
Screw adjuster
Custom made piece

Whats the piece in question?
The triangular bit with mr7 is called the cushion arm (3 holes, 2 bearings 1 bush on a 30 - 3 bearings on a 35,) the metal bit i think you refer to is the dog bone,

Not a 600 shock, there different. (the base of the shock is different, see picture), also the resevoir connects in a different place
Sorry Mark I was sleepy,
The dog-bone isn't a Honda part, the weldings too different and I was told it was made to make the shock fit properly.
The cushion doofer is an RC30 part.
Not an NC30 shock either as on the NC30 shock the remote resevoir connection comes straight out, this is on a banjo with a bolt like the brake caliper setup.
Looks the same as an RC30 shock (which I believe it is) except the resevoir is different, perhaps it's been changed?
