im looking an aftermarket exhaust system/even just the pipe work and was wondering is ther any other pipe will fit like of the older fzr400 or say the fzr600's or the thundercats etc...?

the fzr 6 pipes fit a 3en1 (i know its not 3tj but might help) in terms of the headers bolt up but they hang a bit lower than the originals so the bottom fairing needs to be spaced out slightly at the front but it doesnt look too bad at all! im not sure if the earlier pipes fit though!

expensive option bdk racing- they do a full system, im not 100% but i have seen old pics of fzr with micron exhaust do may be they did or do something worth having a look.

The only pipes that keep the exup are the BDK kit exhaust all the others junk it.
I'm not certain if it's good for a road bike though as the exup helps low down torque.

Fzr600 or thundercat pipes will be lower and melt the bodywork as do 1WG pipes on a 3TJ. There was someone try to get a kind of repair kit together but I don't know what happened in the end.

should have said im no at all worried about the exup as its a race bike.

seen a few sets on ebay includeing the ones on that item number but they dont seem 2 be any make so thought they mitein be up 2 much.
