GK73 Front End Upgrades....
Apologies if this has already been posted!
Are there any front swaps that can be made for the GK73! I'm doing a complete build of one from the frame up, but I'm having serious problems sourcing yokes, so I thought if there was something a bit more modern I could swap in there....
Thanks in advance!
Daz

With a little time and effort you can fit pretty much any front and onto any other bike.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Thanks for the info lads...
I'm not in any immediate rush, but would like to sort a rolling chassis as soon as, then just accumulate bits and bobs along the way. Have you got a link to that USD Build mate, would be interesting to see if it's not too much assing around....
I read somewhere a zx636 front end will fit.... This true???

Re: GK73 Front End Upgrades....
636 forks will fit straight in the 76a yokes so long as you use the other parts, brakes etc.
Best advice is download the parts books from the manual section and check the head race no.s 76a V 73a.
You maybe able to fit the 76a yoke to the 73a.

Re: GK73 Front End Upgrades....
Thanks mate,
Just tried to get the two parts catalogues but the link for the GK76 is down. I see you had the 2 yourself on offer on another post.... Do you still have them!
I checked eBay and a lot of sellers are selling headrace bearings listed to fit the GK73 & 76.... This would suggest they are the same size????
Thanks again!
