gk76a geometry
i've replaced my gk76a with a K7 rear shock. my front was lowered 20mm when i took over. now with K7 shock, i feel that i'm leaning more forward. my friend said that with lower front, corners will be sharper. please advice whether i should adjust front back to stock height or its okay to be 20mm lower. what are the pros & cons? photos of my front & rear with measurement.
front measurement

rear measured with scale infront of footrest.

front lower by 20mm

Re: gk76a geometry
You dropped the forks 20mm? That's quite radical if you ask me.
I fitted a K7 shock to my bike. Because it's less soggy, that had the effect of adding about 20mm rear ride height, so my forks are back through the yokes. I think I have them at 5mm now.
Of course, my bike isn't running at the minute...

20mm on a 400?
Are you suicidal?

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
