Hagon rear shocks, any good?

I'm trying to refurb my bike and funds are not unlimited! So no Ohlins etc, and my riding wouldn't justify that level of exotica anyway.
Just considering rear shock options, I've had a look through varioss posts on here and hagon seem to have mixed reviews, however for real world road riding, no intentions of taking the old girl on track, sre they OK?

Graeme France is selling a Hagon shock here:

I've never used one myself, but they are meant to be quite good.

I used one on road a track and I couldn't outride it. For the money I think their spot on.

They're very good.
For anyone rebuilding or restoring a bike, Hagon are the first choice because of their reliability and value. You'll pay more for greater performance and exclusivity, from other manufacturers, but if you aren't a racer a Hagon shock will do you just fine.

Thanks folks, bit the bullet and bought that one that Graeme France was selling.
Prepare for some "How does this fit?" posts, closely followed by "How do I set the shock up?" etc.
However thats likely to be later in the year as the front end is currently in bits, so one step at a time.
Cheers
