What's it worth?

I bought an '87 Genesis last year to track, but I'm now thinking of buying one that is already sorted.

It seems to be pretty smokey out the exhaust, but I'm waiting for an adapter before I can run a compression test. What should i expect to get if i put it up for sale as "spares or repairs"?

Cheers

It will probably depend on the bodywork - if it looks nice then maybe up to £200
If it doesn't you'll be lucky to shift it.

I'd get more for it as a non-runner lol

Just a guestimate.

It's a 25 year old bike with a smokey engine - would you buy it ???

First rule of a project bike - start with the best bike you can

If the rest of it is "ok" then look for an engine ... maybe a 600 get it mot'd a sell it.
or
put a 600 in it and make it a track bike.
