Newbie Help needed {again!}

Hi all since i last posted about the NC24 rear brake disc ive finally got the engine in with a set of nc30 carbs fitted.
Now ive got a bit stuck with where certain wiring loom plugs fit into {pics to come} just wanted to ask if someone could take a pic of there loom all plugged in or something {so i know what goes where}.
Also on the altenator side of the engine{left side if you were sitting on the bike} i have three yellow wires with spade connectors coming out of the engine, does this connect straight up to the loom ?
i also have the same problem with the rectifier { three wires with spade connectors} does this also plug straight into the loom or is their another piece of wiring that i dont have?

If anyone could give some info on how to connect everything that would be great.

Most of the plugs on the 24 loom are different so can only go back together the same way it came apart, plus most of the plugs are colour matched. (check the colour of the wires match both sides on the ones that are intererchangeable i.e Ignition box.)

Those 3 yellow wires comming out of the generator cover come from the generator (no surprises there) and they go straight to the R/R unit.

It originally had a plug but if it has spades on it now the unit has probably been changed
as this tends to happen a lot:

The NC30 carbs have bigger jets so it's not going to fuel right if you get it running so some dyno time might be in order.

If you get stuck with any other plugs give me a shout.

The main air jets are significantly bigger on the NC30 carbs too, which may give you some headaches when it comes to setting them up. It's doable though.

What airbox will you be using? I don't know that the nc30 airbox will fit under a '24 tank.

The nc30 carbs will go alright with some mucking around, but knowing how fussy they are when it comes to induction and airbox, you may have a bit of a headache sorting it out.

Well the story so far... ive connected up a bit more of the loom today and i only have a few plugs left to connect now {see pics} Thanks to Neosophist

the guy i bought it from had made his own extension of the loom and fitted a glass fuse fusebox at the back of the bike and attached the ignition on the frame behind the rear of the engine!

regarding the carbs i do have a very tired set of nc24 carbs but the slides soo worn that one slide stuck continuously so the engine was only firing on three cylinders {this was when i first got the bike, before it was stripped for a big overhaul} the 24 carb bodies were also dead but i still have all the needles and jets for them {if that would work in the nc30 carbs}
I haven't decided on which airbox to use, i have both but it will all come down to which one fits.
If anyone has any idea's with the nc30 carbs please let me know all ideas greatly appreciated

I'd go with the NC30 carbs. You really need to use the NC30 airbox, but as Stickshift says, there may be space issues. If not, you'll have to use the NC24 carb bracket on the NC30 carbs in order to fit the NC24 airbox. I'd start at a standard NC30 carb set-up and go from there. As long as you get the airbox right, it should just be a jetting issue.

Might be better off trying with the NC35 airbox as the NC30 has that big flap at the front.

How many miles the bike done now then if the sliders are worn out?

Im not sure as i got it as a project , im told around about 50,000km {i knew the person who had it previously}

Btw Neosophist could you tell me where the other plugs connect to please.
