RRSP seat on a 3TJ

Hi guys,
I bought a used RRSP seat recently for my 3TJ but I've having difficulty working out how to fit it. Do the rear subframes differ between the 3TJ and SP models?
Here is the bike, and here is the seat.
Before I invest money having the seat painted I would like to make sure it fits well. As far as I can see the SP seat has 4 mounting holes whereas the tail piece on the 3TJ is in 3 separate pieces that all screw in place.
Thanks,
Phil

If you suss out where the RR seat mounts you should be able to make something up - where the tabs are at the front you could mount some bolts and I think the rear light mounts at at the back - that sould be enough to hold it.

I think (from my fibreglass seat anyway!) that the top mounts pretty much line up with the holes in the side of the seat lock bracket and the front mounts are around 10mm up and forward of the front grommet thinger on the RR subframe. I welded a nut on at the front of the RR subframe to take an M6 bolt and turned up a couple of threaded nylon spacers to fit through the seat lock holes to line up with the rear holes on the SP seat. I hope that wasn't as unclear and it seems

when i built my race subframe i just put a couple of 'ears' up off the frame in line with the holes and treaded them to hold it.

Cheers guys! I have just bought a replacement 3TJ rear subframe so I'll modify my existing subframe to fit the single seat.
If anyone has a mint condition left hand rear 400RR panel for sale let me know as I have scratched mine

Take it to a sprayer and get some paint blown in.
