going to have a look at a bandit 400 tomorrow i think the tank is screwed but it is up and running minus mot and tax anything i should be looking for

AFAIK just the usual things. As they are older bikes, pay careful attention to brakes, forks and shocks leaking because of dodgy seals. Shocks can't be rebuilt and are £30 upwards for a second hand one so if it is leaking take money off accordingly. The rest you can sort out yourself. But yeah, otherwise, just look for the normal stuff you would when buying a bike. I have a non vc model so not sure if there is anything you should be looking for there.

cheers for the advice the guy started playing games saying he had someone going to look at it before me so to make him a offer before i saw the bike told him to stick it then so back on the hunt for a runaround while i take the gsxr750 of the road for some alterations
