Hi guys!
Brought a gsxr400 as a project to do up as my first big bike, the engine used to run, however it has been sat in the previous owners garden for 2 years, trying to get it started today, it turns over but then back fires, sparks on all 4 cylinders got fuel getting to it, not sure where to go from here, is there too much fuel? or a different problem?
Help needed! asap! :) cheers

First things to check if it's been stood would be the carbs. They're likely to be bunged up with old fuel.
Secondly, check wiring for corrosion or loose wires. Also, check the battery, it might be low which could stop it starting, even though it's turning over.

i have the one in the top left hand corner spare, only prob is that the connector has snapped off at the white bit, could easily just soldier a wire and a connector joint on there, no idea if it works or not though, just had a big box of spares when i got the bike
