Which FZR have you got? I've put 5EB R6 Blue Spots on my 3EN1 and they're a direct fit

I got mine as a full front system off eBay for £35, all hoses M/C and lever, etc included. With brand new pads too!

With that caliper bolt spacing you've either got a Genesis or 3TJ. If you've got a Genesis then the 2 pots can be upgraded to 3TJ four pots.
If it's the 3TJ then they aren't bad brakes, fit up braided hoses (It's unlikeley the rubber ones are still on there anyway) clean up the calipers and seals, fit EBC HH pads. if your getting a long travel at the lever then check the discs aren't worn.

3TJs are 83mm, so if the Genesis is the same then to be honest, I'd go with EC's recommendation and use 3TJ calipers instead of blue spots.

Cheers the bike is a 1986 1wg with the gold 2 pot calipers with hh pads and braided hoses. the guy in the bike shop nearly crashed into a wall while free wheeling down the ramp. they really are that bad.

I'd look for the 3TJ calipers and probably the master cylinder too.
You should be able to replace the master or the calipers depending on what you can get.
