has anyone ever fitted a didgital dash to there 3tj????...if so what model and how hard was it??.......just trying to make my bike as lite as i can and make it look like a factory race bike on the road.

ive got a vapour one to fit to mine, looks straightforward, but wont know till i try it! you'll need the modded cdi though, as it wont give a speedo reading to the cdi so will restrict it.

i got the sp full power cdi fitted...take that will work???

The SP cdi should work if it's been modded or it's an official UK bike

I had a vapor one on my TRX and the tacho was like a random number generator although I think there's a 'fix' involving a resistor and one of the coil wires out there on t'interweb somewhere.

A 600k ohm resistor inline with one of the tacho wires should sort it out.

yeah...thought be a good post....trying to make my bike look like factory race bike,so think digi dash look the bollocks.its got a pretty cool paint job....Valvoline race team...plus i been buying parts off Kayla.

I'm thinking along the lines of a Tech 3 but as I say it's a way off.

I've got a koso digital speedo on my hybrid, easy enongh to wire up.
