Hey adam, first things first, do you have them in the right plug?
From left to right of the coils it should be 1-4-3-2
So first coil goes to plug 1 and 4 second to plug 3 and 2.
Also make sure you have the wires going to the coils right, blue/yellow tracer from cdi to 3-2, Yellow/blue tracer from cdi to 1-4 and black/white from cdi to both coils, if i remember the black/white go on right connector and coloured ones go on left connector.

Another thing try taking the plugs out and see if you have a good spark, if not get some new plugs.

Hope this helps

Adam

hi

thanks for the help, first off we installed the advanced ignition (engine casing and advanced cdi) i think its dynatech 2000 .. anyway we connected it all together then the start button wouldnt work so i put a direct wire from coils 2/3 to a positive on the battery then it fires n starts runs fine so i wired it into the ignition and it would run but then when i went to rev it it cut out and then found out it was only running on two cylinders so i checked the wires re-soldered them all re-read the instructions and got one of my mates to help me out cause hes familiar with racing but not with the cbr's but still no spark from coil 2/3.i will double check everything thats very much for your help anyway ill let you know how it goes...

thankyou

adam
